TULSA, Okla. - January 17, 2019. The famed New York style "pizza by the slice" has found its way to Tulsa. Bobby O's is quickly becoming an icon across the city and is setting the new standard.
The business opened its doors in December 2018 and operates out of a fully-renovated building on 11th Street that once served as an auto repair shop. Owner Bobby Oertel had always thought about the idea of owning a pizza place. After several months of planning and developing, the restaurant is now up and running in full force.
Perfectly set on Route 66 in the Meadow Gold District, Bobby O's offers a wealth of innovative options. Customers can grab a single or half slice on the go or order an entire 2-foot (24") pizza. One can pick their own toppings or select from a signature combo: Roasted Route 66, Swamp Thang, Homeslice, Cheese Louise, or El Supremo. Additional sides and supplemental items offered are calzones, salads, breadsticks, cheezysticks, and sweetsticks.
The addition of Bobby O's to the Meadow Gold District is a positive sign that the area is continuing to draw interest from prospective business owners. The tie of this community to the historic significance of Mother Road - Route 66 is a central advantage point to any entity considering a move into the district and we are certain that this is the first of many for a variety of retail types.
